Course Order on My Pages page view

Hey @nlsaun – May I know if you are using “Course List” block to add course on the page or is it added by default by Sensei?

If the course page is added by default to Sensei then the course order should work. Could you please check if you have any cache plugin installed or if your hosting provider has server lever cache enabled. If yes, could you please purge all cache and temporarily disable them and then see if it works for you?

I’m using the “student courses” block on the My Courses page. Purged, disabled, no change. Could it be that the Buddy Boss theme is overriding it?

My understanding is that you are using the “Student Courses” block on the My Courses page, and the course order is not being reflected as expected. It’s possible that the BuddyBoss theme might be overriding the default course ordering behavior. I don’t know.

In order to further investigate this issue, you can try switching to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One temporarily to see if the course order works as expected. This would help you identify if the BuddyBoss theme is causing the issue. You can use the Health Check plugin to do this in a manner that is non-disruptive to your users. In addition to that, you can also try using the “Course List” block to display the courses on the My Courses page. The “Course List” block provides an “Order By” setting, which allows you to set the order of the courses based on the following options:

• Newest to oldest
• Oldest to newest
• A → Z
• Z → A

Although this doesn’t follow the custom order you set via the Courses > Order Courses page, it does offer some flexibility in ordering the courses on the My Courses page.
