Hi all, I’ve searched the forum for this topic without luck.

My courses are ordered correctly on the Course Catalog using the Order function, but the “Next Course” and “Previous Course” links are not following the order.

I’ve tried while logged in and logged out. Thoughts? Solutions?

    Thanks much,
    Gary

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • @deacon_blues,

Most themes treat custom post types (like courses) as blog posts. They don’t have an actual template for courses so it falls back to the blog post template.

Most blogs aren’t ordered by numeric order, but instead by date. So likely what’s happening is that your seeing these links (from your theme) displayed in date order as opposed to the numeric order that you’ve supplied.

A creative (but time consuming) solution would be to modify the dates of your courses to match the order you’re looking for.

You could also contact your theme developers for some assistance here.

As these links DO NOT come from anything in the LifterLMS plugin there’s not much we’re going to be able to do to fix this for you. Sorry!
