• I really want to give a positive review but I can’t so long as this error persists. I use up to date WP with Kadence, one of the most common themes. But Sensei is not working right.

WordPress – are you actively working on this? It would be terrific if you did maintain it. A native plugin to turn WordPress into an LMS is a worthy thing.

My issue: after updating module/lesson content the modules get duplicated multiple times and append the name of the instructor to the name. It makes no sense and looks ridiculous.

So your module url goes from “WordPress course” to “WordPress course (instructorname)” to “WordPress course (instructorname, instrcutorname).” It’s absolutely unworkable and sucks from an admin or user perspective.

Please fix and maintain this plugin. I will have to find something else at the moment.

Hi @ms416 – I know it has been a while since you left this review. First, we definitely appreciate the feedback. The good news is that there has been a large renewed focus on Sensei LMS since your review. We have a large team working on it and there have been quite a few improvements and new features so far this year (with more to come).

If you happen to still be looking for an online course solution, I believe this issue shouldn’t continue to be a problem, but if so, we’d be happy to take a closer look. Thanks again!

Hi Ronnie. I gave up on using Sensei but started using Lifter LMS with WordPress. It’s not perfect but it’s mostly trouble free.

My feedback would be to identify the 5-6 things that Lifter and LearnDash do well and build these kinds of things into Sensei.

    Thank you.

Hi @ms416 – understood and much appreciated! Best of luck with your online courses ??

    Hello,

We’re facing the same issue (I believe it is tracked in https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/issues/4703), and apart from that we also see that the course structure also gets disturbed due to this. Modules get duplicated due to name change, and lessons come out of modules in a course. Would love an ETA on this.

    Thanks.

    Hi @dytrivedi,

Thanks for reaching out. Our developers have identified a few other issues which are related to the one you mentioned. You can check a list of these issues here.

    https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/labels/Modules

We have created a master issue on high priority to track and debug these here

    https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/issues/5071

You can follow along with the development work on the GitHub pages.

    Best,

Could you please priority this issue, we are experiencing and so are others. It has to do with a # being used in modules and the correlating user id being dragged in.

Thanks Gaurav for the reply! I’ll follow the master issue that you’ve linked.
