Course completion badges – question on mass assignment + manual graduation

Hello! I have two questions about this plugin.

1) It appears that an admin manually completing/graduating a student from a LearnDash course via their user page does not grant the badge associated with the course. Is that correct, or is that a bug on our specific site? I (Of course, when you’re already on the user page and can manually assign the award. Just wondering about this.)

2) I know you can manually bulk assign badges to users, but is it possible to automatically mass retroactively award badges to course graduates? (For example, an option to assign badge Y to all existing graduates of course X.)
