Coupon restrictions not working

I don’t want to allow customers to add coupons to their orders that contain composite products. So I chose the option in the settings

WPClever >> Composite Products >> in “Coupon Restriction” option
Exclude both composites & component products: No coupons can be applied to composite products.

but upon testing it’s still allowing coupons to be applied in checkout , please help I need to launch this product in 2 days!
