Coupon – Reduce product to ￡{set price}

  • Hello Everyone,

    So there are a number of plugins out there that provide some great functionality for coupons etc… but does anyone know of a plugin that can reduce the price of a product to a predefined price?

    Rather than reduce product price BY ￡x or x%, how about, after condition is met, reduce product price TO ￡x]

    Any thoughts on this?

    I don’t know of any plugins that can reduce a product to a fixed price. That’s because that fixed price would be different for different products. If you want to manually control a product’s sale price, then your best option is to use the product’s sale price:

    Thank you for responding. Maybe a little more detail from myself might help…

    The Scenario:

    A Football Training School has many classes, and to participate in a class, a parent will purchase a ticket for their child. In some instances, a there might be more than one child, therefore we offer a “Sibling Discount”

    Ticket prices range from ￡8 to ￡14.

    The idea is when 2 or more tickets are purchased, then all tickets are reduced to ￡8 regardless of their original value.

    This is the reason to reduce the product to a certain price when a condition is met.

    Any help and guidance on this is much appreciated.

    For automatic discounts, I’d recommend you to use the Dynamic Pricing extension. This will allow you to allow any combination of a product or by product category:
