Coupon on cart combinations

    Hi, hope someone can help.
    I am using this plugin and it is working great but I have a problem with one specific discount requirement I want to add.
    I am selling two different sorts of products out of different categories and I want to create a coupon on the cart which automatically applies if one customer is buying one product of each category. Therefore I added all the products in the field product requirement (under or) and the two different categories under the category restrictions so that there must be at least one product of each category in the cart for the coupon to apply. Therefore I put the minimum of matching products at two.

    But it is just not working. Does someone have an idea?

    I added this functionality to 2.2.4. You can download the beta here.

    Look for the option ‘AND Categories (not OR)’ on the Products tab.

    Unfortunately it doesn’t work for me although I put under product restrictions all the products I have in the shop (with or) and under category restrictions the two categories (with and).
    Other from that I just put apply the coupon automatically and minimum quantity of matching products 2.

    Any more hints?

    You don’t need to put all products in the field, only the caterogies (AND) should be sufficient. Can you send me screenshots of your coupon settings together with a link to try it out on your page? To: admin at soft79.nl

    I see, you have subcategories, like ‘Square’, ‘Skateboard’ etc. My plugin does not account for sub-categories. Would it be possible for you to add the main category to every single product?

    E.g. Also assign category ‘Holzarmbanduhren’ to the SQUARE MAPLE product (not only ‘Square’ and ‘Shop’.

    Hi Frankhmila.

    Yes you can, using the pro plugin in combination with this free addition to the plugin.

    Just include that php file in your themes’ functions.php (snippet is included) and it will allow you to limit the amount of products (per order line) that a discount is applied to.
