If I add multiple products to a cart, view the cart, and add a coupon code (10% off for example,) then the coupon amount off calculation doesn’t take into account all cart products. How can I make sure the coupon amount off calculation applies to all products in the cart?

In the Woo Coupon Box settings, I have the “Limit usage to X items” set to 0 right now.

    Thank you

    Hello,
Is there any notification when you add the coupon code?

Yes, I get a message at the top of the page that the coupon is applied — however, the coupon amount shown is not correct.

Here’s an example. In the Woo Coupon Box settings under “Coupon” I have “percentage discount” for discount type, and “10” for Coupon amount.

When I visit the home page (getivy.com/dev/) for the first time (or open up a private window and view the home page,) a popup box appears for 10% off. I enter in my e-mail address and click enter, then the coupon code appears (I also receive an e-mail with the same code a minute later.)

I then add one of each to my cart from the Men category: Yale Cotton Tee, Yale Triblend Tee, and Yale Long Sleeve. When I bring up the cart page (the “X items” link in the top right,) I see that the subtotal is $62.97. I then enter in the 10% off promotional code in the promotional code field, then click the “apply coupon” button.

The coupon total shown is -$2.50 instead of -$6.30 (which is 10% of $62.97.)

    Thank you.

Please go to Admin->Woocommerce->coupon, find and edit the coupon that’s created by our plugin then find the Discount type and Coupon amount. Are those values set correctly? And you can try creating new coupon from Admin->Woocommerce->coupon with the same settings to see if the problem still occurs when you apply that new coupon.

No, it looks like the values aren’t saved right. I did some tests, and it seems coupons generated b Woo Coupon box don’t save the correct values in the WooCommerce coupons area — the “Usage limits” settings in particular.

With a “unique coupon” type, the Woo Coupon box switches “Limit usage to X items” and “Usage limit per user” values when they’re placed in the WooCommerce coupons “Usage limits” settings.

For example, with these Woo Coupon box settings…
    Usage Limit per coupon: 2
Limit usage to X items: 10000
    Usage limit per user: 1

..these values are placed in the WooCommerce coupons “Usage limits” settings when a coupon is generated:
    Usage Limit per coupon: 2
Limit usage to X items: 1
    Usage limit per user: 10000

I think that’s why the discount is not applied right on the cart page.

Oh i see that. We mistook setting these 2 fields. But i have no idea why this bug affected the coupon value when applying. I will fix this issue and update our plugin.
    Thank you very much.

Hello, I wanted to check in and see if there’s any news about a fix for this yet.

We hope to go live with our client’s Website soon, and would like for this to work.

Your help is appreciated! Thank you.

The point is the bug that sets wrong values between Limit usage to X items and Usage limit per user does not affect the discount on any other sites but yours. You can swith those value settings to see if it causes the problem. The wrong values settings will be fix in the next update.

OK, I just exchanged the values in the “Limit usage to X items” and “Usage limit per user” settings. That worked! The discount amount is now what is should be, which is -$6.30 for this example.

I’m not sure if other people who use the plugin are not affected. Maybe they didn’t double-check the discount amount, and their customers have received the wrong discount amount all this time?

    Thank you.

I have the same problem, how can I solve it?

    Thread Starter michaelb428ping

    (@michaelb428ping)

The temporary solution is to swap the values you would enter in the “Limit usage to X items” and “Usage limit per user” fields in the coupon box settings.

The plugin has been updated at least once (if not more) since I last posted, but the glitch has not been fixed yet.

    Hi,
I fixed it in the latest update which is almost a month ago. Didn’t you get it?

I updated to the latest version and it continues the same thing.

Did you change the value of “Limit usage to X items” and “Usage limit per user” fields as you expect and save it again?

Yes, I changed the values ??as you told me, but continue with the error.
