Coupon name too long

When applied at checkout, a long coupon name appears in the forum

Can I change or disable this?
The problem is that if the customer then goes back to their cart, this coupon name is now showing on the cart details and as it does not wrap so it forces the payment details box to overlap the sidebar and looks very bad.
