Does the email restriction on coupons only apply to registered customers? If that’s the case, what’s an alternative solution to enforce email restrictions for guest checkouts? (Without needing to create their accounts)

  • When you add the user’s email to that coupon, ONLY those emails that are assigned to it will be eligible. No one else. No guests, not even me. No one.

    Hope that helps.

Hey there, @aldabogskie! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

No, it applies to guest checkout too. If you add an email restriction, the user will be able to use the coupon if they add that email on the checkout. They don’t need to create an account to be able to use it. It can be a guest checkout.

But the email used on the checkout must match the one on the coupon restriction for it to work.

    I hope this was clarifying.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!
