• Hello, I have an issue with coupon section, previously it was working well but now its not working see on Fixed cart discount and Fixed product discount, this 2 mode means no matter how much amount in cart it will give discount flat. so i put 1 on it and on cart i add 100$ worth of item and then after add the coupon code it was working fine i get 99 so working fine. the problem start on when i changed the currency, i have 4 curency and on usd it was working perfectly but when i changed to euro, or inr. then it not going to put as fixed cart it just get conversion. for exacmple a product is price 450inr if i put that fixed cart discount coupon whic value i put 1 so it would be 449inr right. and this was working previously but now it get discount as 83.32 as i set 1usd=83.32inr on my store. same as euro and gbp as well. so i want how to treat this like usd on all currency. if i select inr then i want the 450 product in 449 price after add the fixed coupon as i put the avlue is 1 only there. let me know someone can help me or not please.

  • Hey there, @leader193! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

What you described is expected behavior. The value of the fixed amount coupon is set in the store’s default currency and will be converted if multicurrency is enabled.

By default, it is not possible to change that. But there are plugins that add other features to discount coupons, so it is possible that they offer this feature ??

You can search for “woocommerce discount coupon“, or something similar, on the Plugins > Add New section of your dashboard or on a search engine like Google, for example.

Please note that we do not provide support for third-party plugins, so it is good to check the plugin thoroughly to see if it is reliable. You can find more about this in this guide.

Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

So that fixed cart discounta and fixed product discount only work with base currency right? as i said i have 4 currency usd is my default so its work well there but on other currency it just show in conversion rates

Thank you for reaching back, clarifying things further @leader193 .

From what I gather, things work as expected with the site’s default currency, whereas the issue is isolated with the multicurrency functionality that is added via a 3rd party plugin.

Just to clarify, as WooCommerce provides the base e-commerce functionality, the responsibility to work well with it falls on the team of the plugin that extends the core WooCommerce functionality.

Feel free to reach out to the multicurrency functionality’s support channel, as they would be in a better position to assist you.

I hope this is helpful! Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
We will be happy to help you further.
