coupon e-mail restriction does not work

Hey there!

I’ve tested the coupon restrictions on 3.5.1 – what I tested worked well. Can you please explain the steps to reproduce the problem?

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I have deleted the entry in my function.php which works with email restriction (but only e-mail restricted coupons) again. So I have now nothing to organize coupons in my function.php.

I have add a Coupon in woocommerce with euro 0,01 euro discount for only this product
https://www.jay-parts.com/jayparts-shop/jayparts/ecu-update/
Coupon code is $tes;sup+
and restriction to only email address: [email protected] – but if you test it on my shop you can see, that it can be used in cart without my email-address is logged in.

if you test it on my shop you can see, that it can be used in cart without my email-address is logged in.

Validation against an email address isn’t done until checkout. Once at checkout, if a different email address is entered than what the coupon is good for, the expectation is that the coupon will not validate.
