Coupon Creator plugin “caused fatal error” when I uploaded my website to the hosting provider. It worked well in the local environment. When the plugin was disabled by Bluehost support (after finding it didn’t let the database work well), I tried deleting it and installing it again. That’s when I received the message “Coupon Creator could not been activated due to fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘}’, expecting end of file in /home2/yourapp4/public_html/ifixappliancesla/wp-content/plugins/coupon-creator1/src/tracking/class-plugin-usage-tracker.php on line 1

    Please help.

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.

Did you add the plugin from the Plugins page on your site?

Or from a zip file and upload it?

It looks like that file is corrupted for you, whatever your source is.

I am looking at the source code and I do not see how the error you are getting would happen on the standard file. I would expect if this was coming from the plugin and not a corrupted file it would have been brought up already.

Can you ftp into your site and remove the Coupon Creator from the plugins directory and upload a new version from www.remarpro.com and see where that gets you.

Also, this does not sound good:

When the plugin was disabled by Bluehost support (after finding it didn’t let the database work well)

Do you have any more information on that, that is something I would like to fix if you can provide more details.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply! I deleted the files you advised me to from server via ftp, downloaded plugin from www.remarpro.com and uploaded zip file from plugin page. It works fine now. Thank you!
