    Hello,

We have a coupon code live that allows customers to have a 20% discount on all non sale products and vouchers. In all tests it’s working correctly, before going live to customers and in development. However the first time the coupon was used by a paying customer, it took it as €20 off every product in the cart, NOT 20%. The other customers who used it, it was taken as a 20% off.

It seems to be a very weird bug/glitch but was just hoping if anyone had come across this, did it only happen once or recurrently? What did you do to resolve?

    Code is MORANSBLACKFRIDAY22

    Hi @geraldinedes

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that the coupon code MORANSBLACKFRIDAY22 is set as a Percentage Discount Coupon, however, there are some orders in which instead of deducting the 20% discount, it deducted a fixed amount of €20 for every product in the cart, is that correct?

Firstly, can you please share how are coupons added to your site. Is it thru the built-in Coupon Management?

If so, please share with us a screenshot of the Coupon’s Settings (all tabs).

If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, you can try https://snipboard.io or https://skitch.com/. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Furthermore, have you noticed any patterns or similarities to these orders? For example, same product, same category, same tag, same location, same payment gateway, etc?

Otherwise, if this was added thru a third-party plugin or a custom code, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

    Thanks!
