Country to customer role

  • Is there a way to detect customer country (by IP or by billing information) and show the custom user role pricing?

    For example, I have 2 different roles with different fixed pricing, for EU countries I would like to show “Price group 1”, for the rest of the world I want to show them “Price group 2”.

    Or do you know a plugin that could work with your plugins user roles in the above scenario?

    Our WooCommerce Wholesale Prices Premium plugin has a feature to create multiple wholesale customer roles. You can define the wholesale prices for each wholesale role.

    So you can create wholesale roles for each zone or country you serve, eg: Wholesale EU, Wholesale AU, Wholesale UK, etc. You can set different pricing for each of them.

    Hi Husein,

    We have our WooCommerce Wholesale Lead Capture that lets you create a wholesale registration form that allows for manual approval for your potential wholesale customer. You can review their application and assign the wholesale role according to their country.

    But I can do that without WooCommerce Wholesale Lead Capture!

    So basically, Wholesale Prices for WooCommerce by Wholesale Suite itself, is not able to automatically change user roles (pricing) upon selected value in billing, shipping, registration, or by IP detecting.

    Actually, we have to manually review each user and change their role, in this case for guest users your plugin is useless I think!

    Hi @webg,

    Unfortunately, we don’t have the feature to change the wholesale price based on the IP Detecting/Geolocation.

    I can submit this as a feature suggestion for the development team to review. But there is no guarantee that this feature will definitely be included in future updates as we also can’t give any official ETAs if this feature included in the future.
