    As the title says, the GeoIP setting doesn’t seem to work ever since I migrated my website to a new host(I had to re-install the plugin). Everything is shown as unknown, and trying to update the database didn’t seem to change anything despite no errors being thrown and the plugin saying it updated successfully.

    What is worse: I had to change the memory limit in wordpress to 512MB to even be able to try to update the database in the settings. The default 128MB would always throw error

    Didn’t work. Both issues I described still happen.

    After a long time, I figured out the issue: Because I use varnish cache, all IPs were “local” and so the plugin couldn’t figure out locations.

    Changing IP Config to “Use HTTP_X_REAL_IP” and updating fixed it
