country name in plain text instead of label in Custom Template by magic tag

Hello there
I have created a pod ” university ‘ with a field countries set as field type relationship and related type predefined lists -> countries

When I need to use it in a block using {@university.country} in the custom template part, it works but only show the label ( GB, FR ES ) but not the name in plain text.
I know that in code I should use ->display() instead of ->field() to have the plain text
but with magic tag I have no clue what to do
