Country and State disappearing on checkout page

  • We’re having an issue on the checkout page where the country drop down (the first thing the customer is supposed to select) is disappearing. When you land on the page you will see the drop down is visible, then as the page finishes loading, the entire drop down disappears. The state is required for certain countries, and the same is happening with that field. Since the country is required for billing, once it disappears the customer can’t complete their checkout.

    Is anyone else reporting this issue? I thought it was a plugin conflict but I’ve deactivated/reactivated everything and the error is still happening.

    I see no field now, but this kind of thing can be theme related if it has pretty select boxes which conflict. View > Developer > Javascript console in Chrome will give you info.
