Country and date time of donations

    Hello

    I have a problem with the country of the donor and the time of the donation. The country of the donor is set to “United States” and the time of the donation is delayed with respect my own timezone. The paypal sandbox account country is set to Spain. Can anybody tell me how to fix this nad put the right country and timezone?

    You can set a default country in Seamless Donations settings, but your time is set on your server. That’s something to check out with your ISP (or possibly change in cPanel).

    I think the part of the timezone i have it resolved, i think it’s the gmt config in the wordpress admin, i changed it and i have to test it but it fits with the difference in the time i had.

    The other part, in the plugin settings its already set to Spain along with the currency set to euro. I understand the plugin takes the country from paypal but fallbacks to default settings in some case? Or the country of the donor is the country of the fomr? but even in this case its seems not taking the value i put.

    Yep, that one. Give 4.0.5 a test and see if it helps. See the stickies in the forum for a link.

    I’m afraid that the new version dont work either. Keeps saying United States as the donor country in a new donor.

    From the two brief test i make seems like its working now. I will make some more to see if everything its ok.

    If you’re using the new file I marked as the release candidate, it’s because I added a field check somewhere in the code (I’m not at my dev machine to tell you exactly where) that looked for the symptom you described and did an extra validation test.

    If you’re not using the release candidate and its the same version you used three days ago, it’s because the Earth transitioned into an alternate universe 2:17 am last night and everything’s just a little different today.
