    hello camu,
    4 days ago we spoke after a bug came up with slimstat.
    the problem is that slimstat doesnt shown countries properly.
    You told me that it might be a firewall problem from my website provider.
    i contacted my provider and this is what came up:

    My site is behind a ngix server, we bypass it by making it transparent, and all site requests were forwarded via apache2. Also i deactivate all the plugins exept SlimStat.
    Nothing has changed, the problem still remains.

    So, my provider is asking you if your plug in is making (or tries to make) an outbound link/connection with a 3rd party site, or similar?

    WP SlimStat looks at the HTTP_FORWARDED_FOR header and REMOTE_ADDR header to determine the user’s IP address. It appears like ngix is not setting those two headers correctly.

    problem solved by my provider, heres his answer translated:

    “it seems the plug in doesnt utilize the headers
    HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR
    HTTP_X_REAL_IP
    that contaings the real ip of the visitor
    After some adjustments i made, it forwards the REMOTE_ADDR too, so we think your problem is solved”

    after that everything works ??
