• Hello,

I’ve incorporated the WTI like plugin to my blog and it is really cool. First of all, thanks to the creator!

However, I’m having some problems with the counter:

    – When I click on it, it doesn’t it get to the spiral (thinking) and then it shows the message supposed to appear after clicking. However, the counter won’t update. I’ve tried to reload the website after liking it but it doesn’t work either. But if I visit the site after some hours, the counter is updated with my like… why is it that it isn’t updated just after liking???
    – Moreover, sometimes the counter “doesn’t count properly”… as for each like it counts 10 likes (if I like an article with 10 likes and I visit it after 2 hours I may have 14 or 20 likes:.. the website is not yet opened to public so it can’t be the case of a lot of people coming and liking it)

    Thanks for your appreciation.

As far as your issues are concerned, I suspect there is something wrong with your set up.

    – Why I see 2 set of like/unlike icons on the above shared link?
    – You should not be using any class or id matching with the ones used in the plugin. I see a div having class as “like” which contains the like/unlike buttons section. Try changing that something else.

Please change them and lets check again here.

    Thanks

Thank you for your quick answer!

    – There were 2 sets of like/unlike because you probably visited the site while I was testing to uninstall and reinstall the plugin to see if my modifications were the problem. But they are not the problem, it doesn’t work even if using the default plugin… I rather say, it works only sometimes but normally it doesn’t. Anyway, my changes have been :I’ve changed the picture of the thumb, relocated the plugin with “<?php GetWtiLikePost();?>” and erased the line : “add_filter(‘the_content’, ‘PutWtiLikePost’);” to avoid having the like button twice.

    – I have changed what you told me. Now my “like” class is named “coco”

What is next? I really don’t know what else to try

Its difficult for me know the message with the language on your site. I had dropped one email using the contact form. Can you please get back on that?
