Counter issues on Facebook / Pinterest

    First of all I really wanted to congratulate you for this amazing plugin (again, because I already did it in my review ahah). So : it is easy to use and has great functionalities, you really rock there !!

    I have found some issues though :
    – If somebody shares the same content on Facebook several times, it’s going to count +1 share every time. Meaning people can screw the counter and blow numbers out of proportion if they take advantage of this. I run a blog where users write blog posts and are competing for the biggest number of shares, so this is quite a big issue for me, because once they find out… I am screwed ?? Is there a way to fix this ?
    – Also, if somebody shares a content privately on Facebook, it counts +1 on the counter as well.
    So basically people can share the same content 15 times privately and it will count +15.
    – On Pinterest, the same issue arises : a user can pin the same content 15 times and it will count +15.

    Is this fixable ? That would really mean a lot to me ??

    Hi there.

    Thank you for writing in.

    We are sorry for this issue.
    Once the post is shared then it will trigger to +1 where the plugin will fetch the counts values from the facebook server.
    But the plugin did not have the controls to stop the multiple counts for the same sharing.

    Hey, I see. Is there a way to fix this ourselves, to code something along the way that would count private shares for instance, and deduce them from the global Facebook share count ? Thank you !
