The styles are in counter.css and the element set to black is the .flip-counter li

Which doesn’t interfere with most sites. You could redefine the value in your custom.css

I am not a developer but I found your counter and it seems to do what I want it to.

I am trying to calculate a value incrementally every second and display on my WP website. I pasted the short code into a page on my site but it does not display anything. What else do I need to do to make this work.

    Your help is appreciated.

The code creates a div and styles it. The JS changes the number. What site? I can take a look.

Here’s the short code I had up on booktrope.com and it works for them:

    Books Delivered: [thecounter num=”1873555″ date=”2014-01-14″ increment=”3″ pace=”600″]

Try this one and let me know what shows up for you.
