Countdown Timer In My Site Header

Love this plugin.
I’ve got the countdown timer working in the header of my site using the Header & Footer plugin to add content there and adding this code:
<?php echo do_shortcode(“[ujicountdown]”); ?>The only issue is I have to create a page or post and add the timer in there first, then it appears in the header. Not really a big deal except when the timer expires the homepage breaks, it become https://www.mysitename.com/fail.
Anyway around this?
