    Is it possible to set the countdown to count down to NEXT match?
    At the moment there is a possibility to count down to first match, and to a exact single match but not to next upcoming match.

    I have Euro 2016 prediction and would like the players to see the time they have until the next match (prediction closes exactly at the beginning time of the match).

  • Hi Oiorokko, This goes automaticly.

    As soon as the the first match is started the next countdown to the next upcoming match will be there.

    What am I doing wrong so that it does not start to count down to the next upcoming match but instead counts the time upwards – first match started xx time ago…?

    I don’t think it did this automatically already. I did some changes in the code and now you can pass ‘next’ as a match number to determine the next match automatically. So something like:

    [fp-countdown match='next' display="inline" texts="none" format="2"]

    Counter will still count upwards when the countdown time is passed and the page is still open, but on reload of the page, the shortcode will determine the next match to count down to. If no next match can be found, the first match is returned.

    Not tested thoroughly yet, but you may try it yourself. It’s in the dev version.
