Count variation product as a whole and not separate?

Hey there,

Interesting use case happened to come by. We have t shirts and each have different colors and sizes like they usually do. I can setup a rule for a product that get’s the discounted value but the functionality seems to work as a separete rule in which each of the variations are counted separately.

So if i have a discount percentage of 5% rule for above 20 and have a t-shirt with Color: Blue and Size: M it has 15 in the cart. Then i would have a t-shirt with Color: Green and Size: S and the amount in cart would be 6 so the total would be 21. The discount is not applied in this case and it seems for the rule to take into affect there would be a need to have 21 of each variations.

Could we have an option where we could choose if we would like to treat the rule as a whole for the variation product or separate like it currently does?
