count Pages

  • Can someone tell me how to determine the number of pages I have? We are looking at a malware security program which will handle up to 500 pages and another that will do 2500. The 2500 one is far more expensive of course. I have been told by the group selling the 2500 one, that we have 2500 pages, which make me worry that tomorrow we will have 2600 and the software will not work! I also find it funny that the program does 2500 and we have 2500 and not 2499 or 2358.

    What do they mean by pages, different URLs? Is the malware security program is familiar with WordPress? Because WordPress doesn’t have any physical pages.

    I was told the following, when I asked what a page was: Everytime the URL changes that is a page. So for every link for a blog page, or page featuring a photo of a work of art, or even calendar, it would be a different page number. Does this make sense?

    They say I have 2500 of these pages and need the bigger program that will check them all.
