Count LearnDash courses

  • Hi,

    the plugin as such supports LearnDash and offers to hook into all post types (courses, lessons, topics, quizzes, …) from LearnDash. The reading time for the single a.m. post types are counted correctly.

    As courses are made up of lessons and lessons made up of topics and quizzes: the reading time for courses is just for the intro text directly attached to the course. Same with lessons. But: is there a method to sum up the complete time for a course?

    Hi Stefan, you could do this but it would require some customization. There is a rtwp_filter_wordcount that can be used to add to the total word count. By default the Reading Time will just come from the post content.

    But you could add time to the reading time by adding to the word count with that filter.
