    Hi wwwnews,

Sorry that you were having trouble setting it up. Could you let us know what specific issues you were running into? Were you able to create a new slide? What happened when you added the [ultimate-slider] shortcode to a page?

yes I added the shortcode but nothing showed.

That could be one of a couple things. If, on the page, you saw the shortcode text, that would mean that the shortcode isn’t rendering, which could be caused if maybe the plugin wasn’t fully downloaded or installed correctly, or if the shortcode was entered incorrectly.

If you don’t see the shortcode text, and it’s just blank, that means the shortcode is being rendered, and the issue is likely just that you haven’t created any slides or there’s a conflict with another element in your WordPress (e.g. the page builder on your page, another slider plugin, etc.).

Did you have any slides created?

Were you using a page builder, or did you have another slider type plugin activated?

Also, what was the exact shortcode you were using?

If you still have the shortcode active on a page and can provide us with a link, we’d be happy to take a look to see if anything stands out to us for what the issue might be.
