Couldn't resolve host 'jetpack.wordpress.com'

    I upgraded my Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin to version 2.5 and site stats stopped working. I deactivated and then reactivated the plugin. Now, it is unable to connect with wordpress. It gives the following error.

    Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. Couldn’t resolve host ‘jetpack.wordpress.com’

    My site is https://wow-facts.com/.

    All the widgets supported by this plugin has stopped working.
