Couldn't resolve host 'jetpack.wordpress.com'

    I have no idea what just happened to jetpack in my site, i didnt do anything for the last 48 hours and it was working perfectly until an hour before when i started to get this error:

    We were unable to get your stats just now. Please reload this page to try again

    i deactivated the jetpack plugin and activated again and tried to reconnect with WordPress when i got this error msg

    Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.

    whats wrong???
