• Wonderful plugin. I installed it because I wanted to display WordPress Widgets in your menu, which is clearly advertised on its features. Unfortunately I couldn’t find the option. Hence the 2 stars.

    Hi Sydney,

You can find documentation for our plugin here:

    https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/

Adding widgets to a mega menu is detailed on page 2 of the Getting Started guide, here is a direct link:

Thanks @megamenu Tom. I read your documentation over and over again but on my screen I can’t find the that top right hand option that says for adding the widgets to menu. I tried matching what I see on my screen to the screenshots in your documentation. Everything matches, except that option. Its just not there.

    Hi Sydney,

Is this the bit you have missed?

By default, sub menu items will be displayed in a dropdown (Flyout) menu on your site.

To convert a Flyout menu to a Mega Menu, switch the Sub menu display mode from “Flyout Menu” to “Mega Menu – Grid Layout”.

Yep. That is where I was missing. I have finally now managed it. But the menu is now long and clipped at the bottom, yet it doesn’t scroll. On the page background scrolls and the menu remains stationary.

    Hi Sydney,

That will be because the theme is fixing/sticking the header (and menu) and making it impossible to scroll. A fix for this is also covered in our documentation:

    https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/fixed-height-mega-sub-menu/

If you have further questions about the plugin, please post a new topic in the support forums and I’d be happy to take a look. Please consider updating your review now you have found the option you were looking for.

    Thanks,
    Tom
