“Couldn’t find ACF 5”?

    Hello! I’ve installed the ACF 5 beta (5.5.14) and the Advanced Forms plugin (1.3.2) but am getting the error banner, “Couldn’t find ACF 5. Advanced Forms requires ACF 5 to function correctly.”.

    Any advice on what I’m doing wrong?

    Hi!

    I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I’ve tested AF with ACF 5.5.14 and it works for me. I also just now tested it with beta 1 and 2 for 5.6.0 without issues.

    I can’t seem to find a beta for 5.5.14, did you download it directly from ACF?

    Hi fabianlindfors, I downloaded it directly from the ACF site, yes. Though I can’t find the page now! I’ve just purchased ACF and downloaded 5.5.14 from them again and it is now working with Advanced Forms perfectly.

    I suspect that you might have been running the free version of ACF. Didn’t know that Elliot had started beta testing ACF 5 for those users. ??

    AF currently requires ACF 5 Pro which I haven’t really made clear in the documentation. Will make sure to update it soon.
