    Hi there;

    Just wondering if you could drop in a rel=nofollow onto the filter links to stop duplication issues happening for the next release (i.e. the filter results are URL extensions, so when Google hits them you end up with thousands of duplicate pages depending on how many filter combinations there are).

    Obviously there is a few easy fixes that people usually use, as it’s AJAX you could just mask the URL, but a nofollow on links takes 10 seconds and would help everyone using the plugin. The only reason I mention it is because each time the plugin updates I need to go in and put in the fix myself.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

    thank for your report. Yestarday we release the latest premium version of YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product filter and add this feature.

    With this neew feature you can add the tag noindex and no follow in the head of filtered page.

    This is good for Google.

    You can find more info here: YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product filter Premium

    It’s a shame that you’re only doing it for the premium…

    It essentially means that if someone installs your free version, they will seriously damage their website’s rank, (surely this would put people off, no?)

    Hi erryn,
    I understand your point about the free version, but the plugin has been conceived in this form. Certainly, we will consider your suggestion for improvement of the free version, but for the moment we have not scheduled any update.
    I can assure you that you can have what you want with the premium version of the plugin, which includes many more features, but we will also consider also improving the free version.

    Bye
