This isn’t really a support question, so maybe I’m asking in the wrong place.

But, would you be able to build something like this except for sidebars? I really hate how the primary sidebar gets pushed below the content on mobile devices, especially when the sidebar has useful and needed features.

A good example is an e-commerce website where the sidebar is used to filter the results by size, price, etc.

On some sites with less important or unnecessary sidebars, having a simple jquery scroll to the sidebar isn’t a problem, and works pretty good. But for many other sites, having the sidebar easily accessible without having to scroll up and down a million times would be pretty useful.

Maybe doing this would be a major redesign, but I’m hoping it wouldn’t be a super hard thing. I’m sure that there’s many of us, like me, that would be fully willing to pay for something like this as a premium plugin (responsive menus too actually).

Anyways, thanks for an excellent plugin. Love the way it works as it is and it’s very easy to work with.

  • Hey ItsPhipps,

It is a problem I agree with you that I suffer with from time to time, however it would be out of scope of the Responsive Menu plug-in.

I will look into the possibility of creating something like this and if possible release it as a seperate plug-in.

I will admit however that alot of my time is currently taken up with the Responsive Menu plug-in with answering support questions and adding new functionality, fixing bugs etc. so it may not be for some time.

It is a good idea though.

Thanks for using the plugin and the kind words by the way!

    Many thanks

    Peter
