So, this handy plugin shows me a list of IP’s that failed to login because these IP’s are just trying some default names and passwords. Then I block all 50+ of these IP’s and then the plugin is asking me “Why?” for every single IP.

Isn’t there a way to just, by default, have the plugin understand that the IP is blocked because it was in the failed login list? It’s really not that hard to understand, is it?

    Hello Ruben.cc,

It ask “Why?” so that you can post a comment on ip-finder.me for that specific IP and this will help out other users or visitors so see “WHY?” this IP is blocked by websites.

Anyways, I will add a new function in upcoming version which will send data to IP-FINDER.ME with website link and name e.g: spam comments / login attempts. For manually adding IP to blacklist, a drop down option will be provided.

    Stay tuned ??

Thanks for the reply Adeel, that’s exactly what I meant! ?? Since this “why” is on the page that lists fake login attempts it seems fairly obvious to me why I blocked the address. I would like to contribute to the list of bad IP addresses, but I don’t really feel like entering this information for every single address again and again. A simple default link that will submit the obvious information would be great! ?? I’m having a tsunami of fake registrations and login attempts on my site lately.
