    Hello,

since I updated to wordpress 5.0.2 and to the latest nextgen gallery version, I have issues with uploading images.
As some other users also experience this issue, I can just confirm that something is wrong with the plugin.

    When I try to upload 50 images, named like image0001, image0002, image0003…,
some images succeded and some failed. The one which failed does appear in the gallery but has no thumbnail. Open it directly through the link works. Binding it in a post doesnt work.
The permissions on wp-content were not changed to years.

Error: Could not write to file. Please check filesystem permissions. Filename: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wordpress\wp-content\gallery\test_123\image0006.png

Can you please take a look at it.

  • Hello.

I have the same error since I updated NextGen Gallery. I still use WordPress 4.9.8.
I tried several things, but it seems that the issue is relating to the image format (just .jpg is OK).
My last test was to upload three images : essai.png, essai2.jpg and essai3.gif in, a new gallery.
The three files are on my server in the “nggallery” directory, but on the blog the gallery shows only one image, “essai2.jpg”, and it is written that this gallery contains only one file.

    Please help !

    Another test : essai.jpg, essai2.png and essai3.jpg.
The gallery contains three files, but the miniature for the png file could not be create.
And there is still the error message.
