WP-Google-Maps has stopped saving the XML file since i updated to the latest version, this has since rendered my maps useless :/

Has anyone else come across this or offer any solution? I’ve checked the privileges, and they are all good, the plugin won’t even make the XML file :/

I’m not using any CDN or caching plugins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Marypop
Please go to maps->Settings->advanced settings and choose the “database” method instead of the “marker XML file” method. This should help.

    Hi,
I’m running WP with your GMaps Plugin (v.6.1.2) on a Windows Server 2008 R2 and I also have the problem, that he’s telling me
WP Google Maps cannot find the directory it uses to save marker data to. Please confirm that /D:\inetpub\XXXYYY.de/wp-content/uploads/wp-google-maps/ exists. Please also ensure that you assign file permissions of 755 (or 777) to this directory.
I already changed to Database instead of XML File, but he’s still showing this error.
Apart from this, the directory exists and the user rights are OK (Read, Execute; Show folder content;Read). But even when I grant Change & Write, the error is still there.
Any help would be very welcome! ??
    Thx!
