Paypal payments are failing with this error:

Could not retrieve order. OrderEndpoint.php:443 Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

We’re also seeing an error in the logs corresponding to the same time as the order:

    [Tue Dec 13 11:08:25 2022] [PID:3007572 EID:cMTZzLK+FfM] [php7:notice:sapi_apache2.c(349)] [Host:www.xxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk Client:82.5.240.105:0] woocommerce_before_cart_item_quantity_zero is deprecated since version 3.7.0! Use woocommerce_remove_cart_item instead.

The IP appears to resolve to Virgin Media Network Centre in the Uk.

Are these two issues related? Have seen similar posts that suggest a plugin clash? Recent updates include Elementor/Elementor Pro. Could this be a clash?

    Thanks!

    Hello @sushihost

Is this issue occurring with every customer on your site?

Are you able to replicate this issue when you test?
If you can replicate the issue, you may want to perform a full conflict test to rule out eventual issues with the theme or a different plugin. We recommend temporarily activating the default theme Storefront and disabling all other plugins except for?WooCommerce and?PayPal Payments to see if the behavior persists.

Here’s a guide that explains the steps in more detail: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

Please let us know how this works out for you.

    Regards,
    Femi.
