    hi I’m working on a site with

    Woocommerce Version 8.0.1?
    WooCommerce PayPal Payments version 2.2.0

    and I’m constantly getting the following error when attempting to checkout

    Could not retrieve order. Maybe it was already completed or this browser is not supported. Please check your email or try again with a different browser.

    Ive disabled all the other plugins and switched to a basic theme twenty twenty are there any plugins I can add to help identify the cause of my problems?

    But as mentioned in that guide, the error can have various causes, and we can best help if you could share a copy of your system report, as it helps us better understand your setup and identify potential issues.
    The system report can be accessed from here:
    WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support

    hi Niklas got it, thank you ?? button.js was not loading

    although the paypal payment was set up to take payments I had to switch it on and off again <insert IT crowd joke here>

    Sometimes that’s all it takes to resolve eventual problems ??

    There have been a few similar reports recently, and the team is investigating how such a scenario could be reproduced. It is generally beneficial to ensure that PayPal scripts are not affected by caching/minification.
    But once the buttons load for you, we expect everything to work as anticipated.
