• Hi, SMTP Postman was working great until about 5 hours ago when emails were not being sent from my website.

    When I do a ‘Connectivity Test’ the result is that it can’t connect to my mail server with the service available saying NO for ports 25, 465 & 587???

    It was working great until recently. I tested with another domain on the same server (thinking it may be firewall related – CSF) but that connection works great.

    Don’t know what could be causing it. Nothing that I know has been changed on the website or cpanel account.

    Any ideas??

  • Having same issues – across multiple sites. All within the past month-ish. Tried updating everything – still having connection errors. Have confirmed with mail server support ports are open (and otherwise active).

    That’s interesting Disctoast.

    I also tried to uninstall the plugin and install it again but it came up with the same settings so maybe it doesn’t uninstall completely. Still the same issue after a re-install.

    To solve it I uninstalled Postman SMTP and then installed another SMTP plugin and the emails worked great using port 587 so the issue is pointing to Postman SMTP.

    It’s weird that it just stopped working (starting blocking the ports) all of a sudden.

    Other Postman SMTP installs on the same VPS server are still working OK. Is there a way to uninstall completely so when I re-install it’s like Postman SMPT had never been installed in the first place?
