I created a site for client and created multiple forms using Form Maker Pro. The email alerts worked fine for the first few months then my client switched over to Google Business for their emails. Then they no longer got email alerts. I call Google Business Support and was told they did not accept PHP because they weren’t secure.

I installed SMTP Postman to see if that would work, but keep getting “Could not open socket”. Any suggestion or Ideas on how I can get my clients email alerts back up and running?

    Thanks
    Andre

From the last time you asked me this….

    This:

    smtp:ssl:plain://do*****[email protected]:*********@smtp.gmail.com:25

Won’t work on GoDaddy. Either re-run the Wizard or change it manually to:

    • Transport: Gmail API
    • Authentication: OAuth 2.0

That’s your only option to use Google Apps and GoDaddy together. You’ll need to have your client generate a Client ID for the WordPress site in the Google Console. Follow the instructions in the FAQ.

    Jason,

So sorry for the late response to your 1st and last post. I happened to look in my spam folder and saw the response. I updated to the new widget and ran the wizard It worked perfectly:)

    Thank You
