Could not map the paths for saving thumbs!

Hi,
we’ve come across this error.
There has been an error in ImagePro
Could not map the paths for saving the thumbs!With this output:
wp-content/uploads/2015/04/_d_improd_ is not writable! Make sure it has write permissions (for example 777)
I’ve changed the write permissions for the uploads which has worked for now. Will this work for new image uploads and directories created by the plugin?
I would like to prevent this from happening again.
