    Hello Guys n Gals

I’ve just created a new website and installed/activated Events Manager. However it wont send notification emails, when I send a test email settings email from

Events – Settings – Email – Email Settings

It gives me the following error message

    Could not instantiate mail function

    Anyone any ideas why ??

    Regards
    Phillip

can you try to change mail sending method under events > settings > email > email settings eg. try wp mail, php mail or SMTP ?

    Hello Angelo

Its WP Mail that’s causing the problem. Changed it to SMTP and it works

Do You have any idea why the WP Mail Function is not working ???
    Phillip

It may have been deactivated by a plugin or your web host or there may be another issue. Hard to say.

Is there a way of re-activating it???

    Phillip

You could try testing with all other plugins deactivated to see if it starts working again.

Otherwise, if it’s been deactivated by your web host you’d need to contact them about it.
