Could not initialize recaptcha

  • I am afraid I have a problem with the invisible recaptcha on chrome that seems to be limited to Contact Form 7. At present, when a form is submitted it displays a message that reads ‘Cannot contact reCAPTCHA. Check your connection and try again’. Once the alert is dismissed it appears to bypass the reCAPTCHA check and submits the form regardless.

    That being said, the alert only every pops up on Chrome however it doesn’t appear to be a seamless integration with Contact Form 7 across Safari and Firefox. For example, once the form is sent the reCAPTCHA prompt doesn’t close which leads me to think it has been bypassed again.

    Is anyone able to offer assistance or ideas towards a fix? Screenshot of the alert is below.
