Could not get twitter authorization to work

  • Installed fine, but when I attempted to authorize the twitter account through the plugin, something went wrong with the oauth process. Tried it several times, no luck, not much more to go on?

    Anyone else see this? Is it a plugin issue, or maybe a twitter authorization problem or something else?

  • Make sure you see the current url from the address bar in the settings section. If your settings’s address bar url is proper, update the plugin setting and then try to authorize.

    u should try copying the URL of the settings page of Tweet Old Post, to the bar that says that u should change the url if is not the same. Change it even if seems to be exactly the same.

    also when you first activate the plugin and go to the options page
    there is a bug
    You need to save that options page once
    and then make sure you are logged into your twitter account you want to post to before you try to make the connection.

    I don’t know why you have to save the settings once .. it must be something with an option in the database not being set.

    The option not being saved is probably the Call back URL as the people above stated you should check
