I am getting Error: Could not find the template function: TinyMCE_advanced_getEditorTemplate after installing 2.0.1 in a separate directory with shared database.
It works in the “main” installation.

    Any idea?

  • is the plugin activated?

It has nothing to do with the shared database.
Were ALL the files and folders uploaded into the second installation’s location? (Earlier you posted about missing parts…)

    Ah he had probs before

    Yes.
The earlier missing parts were because I had nested the entire wp-admin dir inside wp-contents, by accident.
Ik checked and rechecked my directory structure, but couldn’t find a difference.
“red-star” talks about a plugin, but I don’t see this editor in the plugin list, not in any of the two blogs. And still it always worked in the main blog that I set up first.

I have now deleted the tinymce subdir of wp-includes/js and copied it from the other install. Now by magic it works!!
    Sorry for bothering you.

Oke, fine that it works now. I was not sure you were talking about a plugin.

I’m now getting this error also. Is this the name of a file or something embedded in a file? I tried upgrading to 2.0.5 but I still get the message. My wordpress files are in a different directory from the blog at Moosewatch.com. Could there be a problem with that?
