    Stripe is setup in test mode. It looks like the payment is processed because the popup module turns green and goes back to the checkout page and this error shows up “Could not find payment information. Please try with another payment method.” I tried other options of disabling plugins and just could not figure it out. Both WordPress and the Plugin are up to date.

    Did you try disabling Stripe checkout and see if other methods work?

    Hi @swiftdone,

    Can you also test by switching the theme to the default twenty sixteen theme and turning off all the plugins except for WooCommerce and stripe to see if that resolves the issue? if it does resolve then activate plugins one by one to check which one is causing the behaviour?

    I deactivated every plugin and theme and still getting the same error. Not sure how to fix it… I have checked security and publishable key twice now and still getting that error.

    Its quite hard to help if we cannot see the site for ourselves. If you can, disable all plugins except WC and Stripe 4.0.1, switch to a WP default theme. Then link the site here so I can take a look for you. If that poses a problem as it is live, please create a staging/test site and I will gladly take a look for you.

    @swiftdone and @fukumoto949 can you please try downloading Stripe from here https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe and then load it up to your site overwriting your current one to see if it works for you?

    Thank you for helping me.
    I downloaded this zip and overwrite to FTP server.
    it was the same messeage tells me “Could not find payment information. Please try with another payment method.”
    then i saw the plugins new stripe updating signe 4.0.2 so updated it.
    the error message change to “Unable to process this payment, please try again or use alternative method.”

    @fukumoto949 Hmmm that is not correct. If you use the one downloaded and correct overwrote your files on the site, you should not see “Could not find…” If you see this, it tells me you didn’t get the files properly.

    I suggest you try again and don’t auto update to 4.0.2 and then pass your link and I will take a look.

    I followed the steps… deleted the plugin that was installed during WooCommerce installation and uploaded the plugin from github and still getting an error… its different error like @fukumoto949 has reported. Unable to process this payment, please try again or use alternative method.

    @fukumoto949 – ok now make sure your statement descriptor setting is blank or is in English https://cld.wthms.co/vwC7yz

    Then turn on TEST MODE in Stripe and make sure you add in your test credentials from Stripe Dashboard. And then do a test payment and let me know.

    The issue was statement descriptor. Once I added that it worked perfectly.
