Sorry to hear that you’ve been dealing with this issue for over 15 days – that’s frustrating!

This error usually occurs when there are issues with the connection between WooCommerce and Pinterest. To resolve this, please try the following steps:

1. Deactivate all other plugins, leaving only WooCommerce and Pinterest for WooCommerce.
2. Go to the Settings tab on Marketing > Pinterest?
3. Disable “Enable product sync”
4. Enable “Erase Plugin Data” and Save
5. Go to the Connection tab on Marketing > Pinterest
6. Disconnect your account by clicking on “Disconnect”
7. Deactivate and uninstall “Pinterest for WooCommerce”
8. In your Pinterest dashboard, go to Settings > Security and Logins > Pinterest for WooCommerce and Revoke Access.
9. Go to your site dashboard and install “Pinterest for WooCommerce” – ensure all permission is given
10. Restart the Pinterest onboarding
11. Allow 24 hours for Pinterest to approve the catalog, and your products should sync correctly to Pinterest.?

If the issue persists after 24 hours of your plugins being deactivated, please locate the logs recorded for Pinterest for WooCommerce and share it here with us. The logs can be found in the dropdown in WooCommerce > Status > Logs, copy them to?https://pastebin.com?and share the link here.

I am facing the same issue with my store. i have applied your above solution and now the error is not appearing i.e “There was a previous error that trying to create or update merchant” but another issue is there.

Earlier the product count was 11593 that injested to pinterest but after applying your solution , its initially shows 11593 inside the pinterest for woocommerce plugin. but when i refresh the page after sometime its shows 768421 products. since then the value is not changed the feed is showing processing and not completed inside pinterest since last 7 hours. please note that i am using the plugin for the last 1.5 year and all this mesh happened recently.

Please help me to fix it
