Could not delete “Uncategorized” category

    I have tried with plugin .. but no success …
    How can I do it?

    Are you looking to delete posts from ‘Uncategorized’ category or delete the ‘Uncategorized’ category itself?

    I don’t know the difference, but maybe both …?

    Both are two seperate things.

    1) Deleting posts from the ‘Uncategorized’ category

    ‘Uncategoriezed’ is the default category. If posts are not assigned any category then they are automatically assigned to ‘Uncategorized’ category.

    You can delete posts from ‘Uncategorized’ category or any other category, from the Bulk WP -> Bulk Delete Posts -> By Category module.

    2) Deleting ‘Uncategorized’ category itself

    Right now our Bulk Delete plugin doesn’t provide a way to delete categories.

    You can directly delete the category from WordPress UI itself. Go to Posts -> Categories and select the category and then delete them.
